Hatamikia’s ‘Exit’ unveils new photos

Photos of Ebrahim Hatamikia’s latest flick have been released.

Brand new photos of award-winning director Ebrahim Hatamikia’s latest feature ‘Exit’ have been released.

The film which recently registered to partake at the 38th annual Fajr Film Festival in Tehran is wrapping up its final days of production.

‘Exit’ depicts the story of a group of farmers who travel to the capital in order to voice their concerns to government officials.

Starring in the film are Faramarz Qaribian, Pantea Panahiha, Jahangir Almasi, Giti Ghasemi, Mehdi Faqih, Sam Qaribian, and Atash Taqipour.

Hatamikia began his filmmaking career in the 1980s, focusing on short films relating to the eight-year US-backed war against Iran.

He directed his first feature ‘Identity’ in 1986, and received two nominations for his 1992 classic ‘From Karkheh to Rhine’.

The veteran filmmaker would go on to become a regular at various film festivals, winning two awards for his 1997 film ‘The Glass Agency’.

His 2018 film ‘Damascus Time’ earned him the Best Director award at the 36th Fajr International Film Festival.

‘Exit’, set to premiere at the 38th Fajr International Film Festival will be his 20th feature.
